THE AREA

Just a stone's throw from the blue Sicilian sea and Cornino beach, the "Alle Falde di Cofano" holiday homes are modern seaside villas located in a quiet residential area in sunny Cornino Bay (Custonaci). An ex-fishing village not far from Trapani, Cornino is halfway between Erice and San Vito Lo Capo.

The "Alle Falde Di Cofano" holiday villas enjoy a view of Mount Erice to one side and the solid limestone of Mount Cofano (659m above sea level) to the other. The Mount Cofano nature reserve, hemmed by crystalline sea, is the destination for hiking and outdoor sport lovers (mountain biking, running or marine kayaking). Not far from it lie the Palaeolithic caves of Scurati- Mangiapane where every year during the Christmas festivities the enchanting recreation of the Living Nativity of Custonaci comes to life.

Not far from the homes there are also two cliff faces for lovers of rock climbing: the Cerriolo Suburban Park and the Never Sleeping Wall. In recent years ever more rock climbers have been attracted to the area thanks also to the presence of various sport climbing routes in the nearby area of San Vito Lo Capo.
