The terrain of the Agro Ericino, and the province of Trapani in general, boasts a great variety of natural landscapes: from coastline to islands, lagoons, mountains, caves and sand dunes. Such rich and varied landscapes in one place allows visitors and enthusiasts the possibility to take part in a variety of outdoor sports for most of the year; activities such as birdwatching as well as sports such as hiking and walking, mountain biking, rock climbing, sea kayaking, snorkelling, sport fishing, scuba diving, Nordic walking and kite-surfing to name just a few. Between Erice and San Vito Lo Capo there are also a number of less well-known paths and walks which are ideal for less challenging but highly recommended scenic walks for lovers of nature photography.

The Marsala DOC wine road
The road for a wine which forms part of Sicily's history and that of European gastronomy: Marsala wine is a sweet wine which goes well with tea biscuits. It was invented almost by chance in Marsala in 1773 by an Englishman by the name of John Woodhouse who made the fortunes of the great families of Italian viniculture, above all that of Florio: http://www.marsaladoc.it/
