The "Santa Teresa" holiday homes stand in the heart of the ancient village of Erice (Trapani) at the top of the mountain (750m above sea level) of the same name, 100 metres from the central piazza of Umberto I. Located in a quiet spot in the heart of the historical centre close to Erice's main attractions, an area characterised by its cool climate even during the summer, the Santa Teresa holiday homes are ideal for families looking to relax or couples looking for a romantic getaway.

The residence, which originally formed part of the nearby monastery of Santa Teresa (founded in 1671), was used in more recent times as a craftsman's workshop for blacksmiths and cutlers and after a careful restoration has been transformed into 2 autonomous apartments for holidays in Erice and the province of Trapani. The apartments combine the comforts of modern living with the original charm of Erice habitations characterised by their thick stone walls (sometimes even 1m thick!) and by the vaulted limestone ceiling in one of the apartments.

Furnished with rustic furniture of simple elegance, each of the 2 "Santa Teresa" apartments can sleep a maximum of 5 people and consists of a living room with fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms of varying size, a private bathroom and come with: a TV, radiator central heating, washing machine, iron and hairdryer.
The larger apartment also has use of a traditional Erice courtyard, paved with flagstones, where it is possible sit in the shade during the summer season.

The car park by Porta Carmine can be easily reached by foot (150m) from the "Santa Teresa" holiday homes, as can several Erice restaurants and bars, traditional confectioners and craft shops of local ceramics and Erice rugs.

During the tourist season a cable car, together with a bus, connects the historical centre of Erice with that of Trapani located in the valley. From the cable car it is possible to admire a breath-taking panorama which stretches from the salt pans of Marsala to the Egadi Islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) opposite the Trapani coast.
